Projects Are Being executed Based On Consultation -Chairman Sabuwa

Sabuwa Local Government Council has restated its determination to continue executing viable projects in Consonant with people needs.

Chairman of the local council Alhaji Faruk Hayatu made this known on Sunday when the Media Team from the State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs visited the area on projects inspection mission.

Alhaji Faruk Hayatu said the phase one projects had already been completed and certified , while the phase 2 projects currently undertaken by the local council are being executed based on consultation with the benefitting communities.

The Chairman said among the most important phase 2 projects being executed by his administration include the construction of a about 20Km feeder road from Gamji
 Village to Sabuwa Town , and emphasised the need for the state government to consider tarring the road after completion.

He however commended the efforts of the state Governor Malam Dikko Umar and and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Professor Badamasi Lawal for given local government Chairmen opportunity to serve the local communities in their respective areas.

Projects so far inspected include ongoing construction of about 20Km feeder road from Gamji Village to Sabuwa Town, total renovation of Izala and Darika Juma'at Mosques in Sabuwa Town and completed 760metre drainage at both sides along Shehu Shagari road.

Later the Chairman conducted the Media Team round Rafin Alhaji Ali at the outskirts of Sabuwa Town threatened by ecological problem thereby appealing to the authority concern for unrgent attention.

In an interview,  Elder to the APC Alhaji Lawal Dogara Sabuwa expressed appreciation and gratitude to Governor Dikko Radda, Commissioner Professor Badamasi Lawal and the Chairman of Sabuwa LGA Alhaji Faruk Hayatu for ensuring the implementation of viable projects across the local government area.
